Do you ever wonder what a flip camera is?
Are your videos limited to your pet's crazy antics? This month's MHSMC is dedicated to learning what goes into a good video and how to make it a podcast.

Our July panel will discuss all aspects of technically creating video podcasts, developing content and promoting and sharing podcasts in different online applications. Panelists will include:

Craig Kendall of Kendall Media Group. Specializing in video and specifically video for the web these days, Craig produces and consults on production for almost anything new media. His 22 year career working with non-profits in education and media technology for education makes him uniquely prepared to help individuals or businesses of any size evaluate their current uses of media and devise and implement measurable strategies to better leverage media technologies for accomplishing their business goals.

Deb Robison of Rudy Media on behalf of Level3's Red Couch program. Deb has over ten years of experience in public relations & marketing in corporate, non-profit and political organizations. She currently works with public relations professionals to help them transition from traditional media to emerging media. While she loves all kinds of media, she recognizes that it takes a special skill set and tactics to make a successful integrated communications plan. Her passion is helping organizations understand "digital" literacy and how those skills can advance their mission.

Laurie Kubitz-Maness from the Denver Public Library's Web Information Services Department. WIS is known for a wide range of podcasts for both children and adult programming. Laurie has been working in the non-profit sector for over 10 years and has a strong enthusiasm for producing successful Web experiences for the benefit of her community. Laurie collaborates with many talented people at the Denver Public Library to create interactive exhibits that invite people to not just watch and listen but to live and learn.
